Youth Sports

Solstice Builders understands the importance of fostering a supportive and healthy environment for our young athletes. Whether it’s baseball, softball, or soccer, our owner, Cliff Pender, contributes his time, resources, and expertise to enhance the youth sports experience.  Not only does Cliff offer financial support to local sports teams, but he has also volunteered as a coach, providing invaluable guidance and mentorship to young athletes. Cliff has sponsored and/or coached:

  • Dixie Youth Softball

Boy Scouts of America

Being a proud Eagle Scout himself during his formative years, Cliff recognizes the transformative impact scouting can have on young individuals. With a deep sense of gratitude for the organization that shaped his character, he goes the extra mile to support and donate to the Boy Scouts of America. Cliff is an annual donor to Cape Fear Council, Boy Scouts of America and a Committee Member of Trinity United Methodist Church Troop #238. Cliff’s son and brother are also accomplished Eagle Scouts.

 

Local Schools

Solstice strives to ensure students have access to the resources they need to thrive. Cliff organized and secured a grant for the Outdoor Classroom and Learning Center at Southport Elementary School. He is also a member of the South Brunswick High School Athletic Booster Club. Solstice believes giving back to local schools not only strengthens the educational foundation of our community but also instills a sense of pride and hope in the hearts of the students.

 

Community

Solstice senses a commitment to making a positive impact and fostering a stronger community. After every home renovation or new construction, local businesses . Cliff has also been involved with many community sponsorships such as:
